Affiliate links
Our affiliate programs are with Brazilian stores, so the "Related products" block appears only in the Portuguese edition. Some stories there end with that block. These are affiliate links: if you buy through them, resumer may earn a commission from the store. The price you pay is the same.
How products are chosen
The block only appears when the story is about a product you can buy. News about politics, business or what goes on inside a company gets no product at all. When it appears, there are at most three — and the preference is always none.
The choice happens after the story is written and approved, based on the product the news is about. No advertiser pays to appear there, and no product changes a single line of the text: the story is written first, without knowing whether there will be a product at the end.
What the site never does
- Make up a price, rating, discount or availability: this data comes from the store, or it does not appear.
- Write "buy", "grab it" or any sales pitch inside the story.
- Promise that the price shown still holds — it changes at the store at any time.
When the store does not give the price, the card says only "price on the store's site". That is why some cards show only the product name and the store name.
What is measured
Each link carries a tag that identifies the story and the position of the card — never you. That tag is how the affiliate program tells us which story generated the click. The site does not set its own affiliate cookie, does not build a profile and does not keep anything about who clicked. The stores have their own rules on their side: once you leave here, their privacy policy applies.
On cookies and audience on our side; on how a story is made, see how we work.
